There are many reasons why you may be seeking out a therapist to help with the issues you face in your life. You may be experiencing distressing feelings; you may be approaching important crossroads in life and you’re faced with uncertainty; you may feel like your confidence or self-esteem is low. It may also be something more difficult to put your finger on – you may have an unnameable sense that something just isn’t right with your internal world and you want to make a change.
You may be wondering what it is that I can do to help, and how a relational approach to psychotherapy can support you in overcoming some of the issues you may be facing in life. So let me start there.
While there may be no easy answers to the complex reasons you are searching for psychotherapy or counselling, I can provide you with a safe alliance from which you’ll be listened to and helped to frame the difficult questions. I can help you explore your emotional landscape at a pace that is right for you, without making judgements, seeking more to help you discover your meanings.
If you’ve never experienced therapy before, it can be difficult to believe that ‘just talking’ to someone can be helpful. I believe that the strength of the relationship between the two people involved in therapy is the reason why ‘just talking’ can make such a profound change to your life.
Sensing that you and your experience matter to another person – without conditions; sensing the impact you have on another person; sensing your own courage, curiosity and compassion strengthening alongside another person - that’s where I believe the healing in therapy takes place.

I have a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, a Diploma in Psychotherapy, and a MSc in Psychology. My work is accredited by both the BACP – you can find accreditation details on their register and my work adheres to their ethical guidelines. While my core training draws from Transactional Analysis, I am an integrative, relational psychotherapist, which means I value an approach that places the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the process, which means your experience of therapy will be uniquely your own. I have a passion for working with unconscious process, through creative work, dream exploration, and foregrounding your own subjective, symbolic world in the therapy room.
